The company strengthens its leadership in robotics with a strategic investment in R&D

Barcelona, February 19, 2025 – Kivnon, a leading company in mobile robotics, is embarking on a new and promising chapter following the acquisition of its production unit and subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Slovakia, the United States, and Mexico by CAP Capital, a UK-based investment fund specializing in driving the growth of technology companies.

This transaction ensures the continuity of Kivnon’s operations, reinforcing its commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. In this new phase, the company will retain both its workforce and its accumulated technical expertise, as well as its product portfolio—guaranteeing the same quality and level of service that have made it a benchmark in the sector.

Introducing Green Robotics: a revolution in Mobile Robotics

As part of this evolution, Green Robotics is born—a new company that will carry forward Kivnon’s legacy with even greater ambition: to lead the global transformation of the AGV and AMR market. With an initial capital of 9 million euros, Green Robotics will invest over 3 million euros annually in R&D during 2025 and 2026, aiming to develop more advanced, efficient solutions aligned with the demands of the future.

“This transition marks a turning point in our journey. Green Robotics not only provides us with financial stability, but also a long-term strategic vision that will allow us to innovate and expand further. With Green Robotics, we are ready to revolutionize the industry and deliver even more cutting-edge technologies to our clients,” says Daniel Parra, CEO of Kivnon Robotics.

Commitment to Clients and Partners

“We want to reassure our clients and partners: we remain the same trusted technology partner, committed to optimizing and automating your processes. This evolution makes us stronger and allows us to focus on delivering products and services that exceed industry expectations,” Prieto concludes.

With this new chapter, the leader in mobile robotics embarks on a process of transformation and growth, ready to redefine the future of the sector and establish itself as the global benchmark in industrial automation.
