We have manufactured and installed our 5000 mobile robot, marking a milestone in our history.

Since our founding, we have been exporting to over 17 countries through 8 subsidiaries around the world in Europe, North America, and South America, with a total of 5,000 mobile robots installed.

Founded in 2009 with a vision to pioneer new ways to improve intralogistics operations in production facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers, alongside a team of talented experts in material handling and robotic engineering. “We are proud and excited to announce that we have now manufactured 5,000 mobile robots, said Juan Prieto, CEO of Kivnon.

In late 2009, Juan Prieto and Luis Gómez, co-founders of Kivnon, registered the brand and designed their first mobile robot, the K10 model, which was the most successful product in the automotive sector at the time.

Growth continued as global economic tensions eased. Furthermore, in 2017, the company began its international expansion, entering new sectors such as logistics and pharmaceuticals.

Creating Kivnon was a visionary gamble that has paid off. Automating material logistics flows is making a noticeable difference across all sectors. For example, in one of our applications in the automotive sector, it helped transform assembly plants into open and organized production lines, said Prieto.

In addition to this, as digital transformation and the advancement of Industry 4.0 increasingly automate warehouse and distribution center operations, Kivnon deploys approximately 1,000 mobile robots per year, bringing the total number of Kivnon mobile robots to 5,000 today. There were many factors driving this growth, such as:

  • The success of the K05 Twister model, which automates the transport of medium-sized loads in confined spaces.
  • Expansion of distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to simplifying logistics processes through the use of mobile robotics.

"We are constantly keeping an eye on automation trends and the future. We develop new products by building on our existing technology to offer even better solutions to our customers, including fully leveraging the potential of Industry 4.0, AI, and machine learning for logistics," said Luis Gómez.
